I do cap my gel nail strips off with Seche Vite quick dry top coat, which helps to seal the edges of the nail strips and drys in a minute. I then put on a bit of cuticle oil (or any oil you have on hand) massage that in and I'm done!
That’s basically the extent of how I care for my natural nails and I could not be happier with the results. Occasionally I will shape them also with an emery board but that’s it.

I like to push my cuticles back or use a cuticle remover like the Deborah Lippmann cuticle remover. This is my absolute favorite way to keep my nails looking clean and fresh by using this exfoliating nail treatment.
I’ve tried many other cuticle removers and Deborah Lippmann’s is the absolute best. It is a bit on the pricey side but it is actually the one that works the best, so I feel like it’s a great investment.

I use this cuticle remover about once every two weeks or even once a month. You simply put it on your cuticles, wait a few minutes and then push them back with a wooden cuticle pusher.
