Here in St. Augustine, life is so simple and sweet. I love coming here and relaxing, staying in and enjoying the most delicious home cooked meals. Almost everywhere you go, you'll meet friendly, genuine and warm hearted people, who'll strike up a conversation, making you feel you've been friends forever.
I started coming to this area about seven years ago and prior to that, I had only been to South Florida. I never realized the culture here would be so completely different, the landscape all around so lush and alive with raw untouched nature. I never realized how alive the Southern culture was here and I truly love it so much. I love the sweet tea, the creamy grits, the boiled seafood, the collard greens, the fresh corn bread, the bbq..omgosh I'm just in country food heaven here!

I also love the fashion and style of the beautiful Southern women I've met here. They can be country style, then super girly and then since we're at the beach, there's a beach vibe too. There's the feeling of being all natural, surfing, loving life. There is just so much going on here to enjoy!

Today I went for a country girl look with this plaid Affliction top and Steven Madden fringe ankle boots. I'm wearing my always favorite Forever 21 high waist, skinny jeans that seem to go perfectly with almost every look. I then paired my Louis Vuitton Mini Denim Pleaty with a long Strap and turned it into a perfect, light weight cross body bag. I'm loving this strap to transform so many of my Louis Vuitton's into crossbody or shoulder bags, since older styles LV's had that short shoulder strap.
