I get so many questions on how I do at home gel nails, I thought I would do a mini tutorial today. Keep reading to see how  CND™ VINYLUX™ nail polish makes it so easy to create your own gorgeous gel nails at home!

My At Home Gel Nail Polish Tutorial

First I start with clean nails, free of polish. I apply one thin coat of the CND™ VINYLUX™ nail polish color of my choice. No base coat is needed, as CND™ VINYLUX™ gel polish already has the base coat built in. For this nail tutorial today,  I used my favorite new CND™ VINYLUX™ nail polish shade "Lobster Roll."

CND™ VINYLUX™ Gel Polish

After I apply one coat to all ten nails, I go in with a second thin layer.  CND™ VINYLUX™ also has a new "ergonomic, curve hugging brush for flawless coverage" so your polish easily covers the entire nail.

CND™ VINYLUX™ Long Wear Nail Polish 

After I've applied my second coat of CND™ VINYLUX™ gel polish, I then apply one coat of the CND™ VINYLUX™ topcoat to all of my nails. You must use the CND™ VINYLUX™  top coat to get flawless, chip free results.

After 8.5 minutes, my nails are dry. I love to apply a cuticle oil over the nails to further protect them.
