I recently purchased the new Kat Von D True Portrait foundation at Sephora and I couldn't wait to try it out today with you beauties. In this video, I unbox and give my first impressions, plus show a mini tutorial on how I use it and  show how it applies.


As you'll see in the video, I was completely awestruck at how amazing this new KVD foundation applies. It has a water-like consistency to it and is truly weightless, yet with a full-coverage finish. I was not expecting the coverage to be so amazing, because it was so lightweight, but it really does provide so much coverage that it left me absolutely, happily shocked! As a full coverage foundation lover, I could not be happier with this Kat Von D True Portrait foundation.  I used my dampened Real techniques beauty sponge to apply it and it blended into my skin like a dream.

As for the packaging itself, I love the tattoo ink shaped bottle, which can easily fit in your makeup bag and be taken with you on the go. This is great if you travel a lot or need to do your makeup at school or after the gym. This Kat Von D foundation does come with 1oz of product and it seems like a little goes a long way. I'm hoping it does because I truly never want to be without this foundation at this point, its beyond incredible.
